Complaints
A person at HAUSE reviews every complaint. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, the escalation path runs to the state regulator with jurisdiction over the activity — named on your state page and on the licences page.
We count complaints. The rate is the leading indicator for everything else, and it is the one metric we would rather see rise than have hidden from us.
What to include so we can answer usefully
For anything account-specific, the service address and the utility serving it get us further than anything else. If you have a recent bill, that answers most of our first questions at once. If you are asking about a contract, the expiry date and the current supplier are the two fields that determine whether there is anything to act on.
Please do not email or upload account numbers, meter identifiers or bill images, and do not put them in a request form: this site takes no bill documents. We will tell you if and how we need anything of that kind once there is something worth doing.
What we will not do with your details
We do not sell contact details, we do not distribute an enquiry to a list of brokers, and we do not run cold calling or text campaigns against people who contacted us. A request does not subscribe you to marketing and does not send you an automatic email. It produces an answer and then stops unless you ask for more.
